30 Day Photo Challenge Day 6

Day 6 of the 30 day challenge.  Life is short, don’t forget to tell your friends and family how much you care and how much they mean to you!

A quick reminder that the goal is to carry a camera with me every day for 30 days and take and post a new image every day.  I’m sure this will be a lofty goal, but I’m excited about the challenge.

Day 6 really flew by so quickly, I almost ran out out of time to get out with the camera.  This project is starting to teach me many things as the days go by.  The main lesson so far, is that you have to stay focused on your priorities and the things that are important to you.  Life gets so complicated for so many reasons that have no bearing on what is really important.  With that said, here is the day 6 image.

This image “Horizontal Repeating Lines” was shot walking around the urban landscape of downtown Los Angeles, CA.  The repeating lines caught my eye as I was walking by.  This image works well in black and white because there is no distraction from the colors in the area.  I am exploring how to use light in ways that I haven’t done before.
