30 Day Photo Challenge Day 9

Day 9 of the 30 day challenge.  Finally got the studio working!  Hello old friend it has been too long.

A quick reminder that the goal is to carry a camera with me every day for 30 days and take and post a new image every day.  I’m sure this will be a lofty goal, but I’m excited about the challenge.

Day 9 is all day in the darkroom working on prints for my upcoming portfolio release (check out the shows on the upcoming events page to check out the finished work).  Not sure what it is, but the darkroom has always been such a relaxing place for me.  I crank up some music, turn off the lights, work through negative after negative, and play with chemicals.  What’s not to love.  Then again, I also completely lose track of time in the darkroom as well.  I couldn’t believe it when I realized it was already day 9 of the photo challenge. With that said, here is the day 9 image.

This image was shot in the studio in downtown Los Angeles, CA. The print on the wall is a selenium toned test print.  Can’t wait to share the work at the Brewery Artwalk.

Hope you enjoyed today’s image.  Leave me some feedback, or thoughts in the comment section below.  Don’t forget to look at the other images in the galleries while you are here.
