30 Day Photo Challenge Day 13

Day 13 of the 30 day challenge. The month is progressing along and the images are adding up.  So excited that I’ve been able to make it this far and can’t wait to keep going.

A quick reminder that the goal is to carry a camera with me every day for 30 days and take and post a new image every day.  I’m sure this will be a lofty goal, but I’m excited about the challenge.

Day 13 was just one of those days.  It was really difficult for me to get motivated to go out and do anything.  The positive about being in downtown Los Angeles is that there are many places to walk to and shoot urban landscapes.  I think the thing I like most about urban images is the amount of tonal range and the contrast.  This is why I tend to show these scenes in black and white which really makes the tonal changes stand out.  With that said, here is the day 13 image.
