Greystone Mansion Photo Tour
Beverly Hills Community Services gave me a great opportunity to lead a photography tour at the Greystone Mansion City Park. The tour was one of a handful that were done in place of the Beverly Hills Art Show. Unfortunately, the Art Show had to be canceled due to the current status of the world. Keep reading to see how the tour went.
Greystone Mansion History
The Greystone Mansion is a historic city park located in Beverly Hills, CA. The estate was built in the 1920’s by the Los Angeles famous Doheny family. Beverly Hills purchased the property in 1965 and turned it into a city park. If you want to more about the history of the mansion you can check out the Beverly Hills City Park Website.
The Tour
Only ten people were allowed to sign up for the 1 hour tour to ensure there was plenty of distance. Everyone showed up for the event on time, and what a great group of people. Everyone was super engaged and excited to walk around the property.
We started at the formal garden and walked around the other garden areas and made our way to the Inner Courtyard. We had the long walk back up the stairs, but the light on the way back up was amazing. Therefore, it was a great opportunity for the group to get unique images of the Greystone property.
The Images And After
Although we met in really harsh light, the group was able to capture some really timeless images of this amazing mansion in Beverly Hills, CA. So far I’ve seen a few of the images shot by the group and they are truly amazing!
I’m really happy that I was able to be a part of this amazing experience of seeing the Greystone Mansion. The group of people were so great. I look forward to staying in touch with them in the future. What a great way to meet and connect with a great group of people during a pandemic.
Thank you Bevery Hills Community Service Staff for such a great event!
