30 Day Photo Challenge Day 15

Day 15 of the 30 day challenge. Made it to the mid way point of the month! Half completed or half way to go depending on how you want to look at it.

A quick reminder that the goal is to carry a camera with me every day for 30 days and take and post a new image every day.  I’m sure this will be a lofty goal, but I’m excited about the challenge.

Day 15 was me being out in nature for a bit.  I love getting out of the studio, the hustling and bustle of downtown Los Angeles, CA, and just plain out into some peace and quiet. While I was sitting on the porch of the cabin in the desert a roadrunner came around the corner.  I’m not sure if it saw me, or if it was just inquisitive, but it came almost right up to me.  At one point I was actually a little uncomfortable with how close it got because I didn’t want spook this beautiful creature.  I finally moved and that was enough for the roadrunner to take off a bit, but not so far that I wasn’t able to get this portrait first.  Man this was one chill and cool bird!  With that said, here is the day 15 image.

Hope you enjoyed today’s image.  Leave me some feedback, or thoughts in the comment section below.  Don’t forget to look at the other images in the galleries while you are here.

Don’t miss yesterday’s self portrait image for the Challenge Day 14.
